Infection & Trauma Pain Center

Infections often cause minor aches and pains. They are also associated with more serious pain-related conditions such as encephalitis, meningitis, osteomyelitis and others. Trauma pain usually results from minor or serious short-term injuries (e.g., cuts, bruises, burns, fractures). However, trauma can also cause chronic pain, such as neuropathic pain due to nerve damage.
